Description The BIM Modeler 1 is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. This is a member of the production team that will create most of the detailed drawings for a project and may function as a Detailer as determined by their supervisor. Knowledge of Autodesk Navis Works, Autodesk Design Review and working knowledge of 3D layout and design. Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Perform layout and input of marked-up drawings into Revit in accordance with EC Standards. Setup of Revit views for use by the EC Project team including electronic document filing and all other facets of the electronic drawings and/or model. Prepare copies and help make sets of documents for transmittal to other parties. Download drawings and information from the Web, SharePoint or project websites (FTP, etc.). Documents and archives work pursuant with the EC standard. Acknowledgement of any/all EC confidentiality and/or Non-Disclosure requirements pursuant to this position. The protection of Proprietary or Company Intellectual Property. Ability to create Revit work sets and understanding of Revit work sharing process. Ability to take verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, working design documents. Sufficient working knowledge of the most current modeling applications software in use by EC, including being able to manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters and similar Revit functions. Understanding of 3D coordination with other trades. Work closely with EC field supervision to produce dimensioned drawings for layout and pre-fabrication from the model. Lead EC teams or work with vendors to laser scan existing structures. Coordinate delivery of a 3D object model created from laser scan data. Participate in job layout driven by 3D model data. Verify elevations and dimensions using computer driven survey and modeling equipment such as Total Station. Ability to receive and transmit documents on behalf of the design team, either via posting to website or the Internet or via hard copy. Fluency with all plotters, printers and reproduction systems used in house or on the job site. Fluency for importing documents, such as spread sheets, photos, images, and word processing files into Revit projects. Fluency in the current version of Revit software employed by the Department. |

Description EC Electric has a full-time position available for a Project Coordinator 1 position. The role of this position is to provide a high level of coordination support in a wide variety of areas, partnering with construction project management staff. This role will act as a support to the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to ensure accurate and efficient project documentation tracking. The Project Coordinator 1 role will also be responsible for maintaining and controlling the billing process and schedules per contract requirements. Responsibilities include: Assist with project start-ups and close-outs. Provides front desk relief and/or additional administrative support to others to help meet business and staffing needs. Prepares routine correspondence (letters, memos, meeting notes and proposals). Bid Tracking Log - Creating Bid Numbers and Maintaining. Subcontract Checklist. Certificate of Insurance Requirements, Bonds, Billing Requirements. Contractual Requirements (Certified Payroll, OCIP/CCIP, Affidavits). Review specs for hard/soft copies required. Create submittal packages from information provided by the Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. Monthly Lump Sum billings for subcontracts valued $100k-$5M (Including Pay Apps, SOV, Lien Waivers, Certified Payroll). Logging/Tracking but not limited to, insurance, bonding, permits, submittals, RFI's, change orders correspondence, drawings. Provide copies or scans of drawings. Assist with writing RFI’s. Prepares routine correspondence (letters, memos, meeting notes). Assist with creating tiered subcontracts, managing compliance, and assisting with change management. Process electrical permits and process plan reviews with supporting documentation. Review specification or client documentation (hard/soft copies) for O&M, O&M warranty vendor requests, create O&M package from information provided by Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager, and coordinate record drawings to submit. Other duties as assigned. |
